About Me

Gretchen “Banana” Vaughn is a Cultural Competency Trainer and Leadership Coach from Denver, Colorado. Gretchen directed day, resident and medical-specialty camps and worked as an outdoor education instructor for thirteen years before starting her own business, Out of the Mountains, LLC. Her many presentations at American Camp Association conferences and Girl Scout staff trainings are described as "engaging," "thought-provoking," "informative" and "innovative."
